Our Trip To Ancient Egypt
One sunny day in Issaquah, Ryan and I finally finished inventing the world's first time machine! So
of course we tried it out and sent ourselves to Ancient Egypt. It was amazing! We went swirling through
time, then "poof!" we were standing in front of the Great Sphinx and the Pyramids of Giza. So we hopped
out of the time machine and Ryan accidentally hit the button to send the machine back to Issaquah. "No!"
we yelled. "I guess it isn't that bad," Ryan said. I agreed. So we continued on our journey through Ancient
Egypt. Then, about five minutes later, Ryan asked, "How did the geography of Ancient Egypt influence life in the region?" "I don't know," I said, "but we will find out on our journey." Later I asked, "What were the Ancient Egyptians beliefs, and how did they effect their lives?"
Back and forth, Ryan and I asked all sorts of questions like...
- "What were the key features of Egyptian society, and what innovations were developed?"
- "Who were the key individuals, and how did they mold how the society thought and acted?"
- "What were the advantages and disadvantages of power in Ancient Egypt?"
- "What were the major developments of the Ancient Egyptian world?"
And the answer we always gave each other was... "We will find out the answer on the rest of our journey."
Note: On the rest of the pages, you will get the answers to all of these "essential questions."
